Lastly, we believe in the potential of humanity as a species; with time, compassion, and firmness, we will overcome our flaws and deficiencies. However, these ideals cannot be realized if we abandon virtuous living. Living without ideals diminishes the essence of human life, which is defined by our mental faculties and our capacity to will.
